The best, most expensive soap I’ve ever used

I was in a very hip (the word ‘hip’ makes me feel so old) restaurant, and their bathroom was stocked with Aesop’s Reverence Aromatique Hand Wash. And it was the best hand washing experience of my life.

It doesn’t just smell great (vetiver root, petit grain and bergamot) but it’s also EXFOLIATING!  It has those little grains (petit grain I guess) that smooth away all the roughness of the day, and when I rinsed it off my hands were soft as a baby’s. If you wash your hands as much as I do, most soaps make them dry and red. This one took care of my hands like they were at a spa. First thing I did when I got up was look up how much it was. Alas, it is £27. But if you are Mr Rockefeller and are looking for Christmas gift ideas, this would make a great present. Because no one would spent £27 on hand soap for themselves.
